I checked these figures on 26 October 2026. “Reported” means a named third-party review, because the vendor does not publish it.
Every reply and every image costs these apps money, so free tiers exist to show you the product, not to replace a plan. Companion apps also gate media hardest: images, voice and video are where tokens, coins and credits come in. If a site promises unlimited free adult chat with images and no account, ask who runs it.
OurDream AI is reported at about 50 messages a day on its free tier. Its paid plan is $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed yearly, with unlimited messages and 1,000 dreamcoins for calls and video. Compare it in Candy AI vs OurDream AI.
Secrets AI is reported at about 20 messages a day plus 200 Moments at sign-up, with no video on free. Nectar AI’s own FAQ confirms a free plan with the character creator, chat and limited image generations; reviewers report 15 messages and 10 images a day.
Kupid AI’s subscription page shows 15 messages for free. Joi AI offers a limited “Basic” access that its terms say can be withdrawn at any time. DreamGF’s pages contradict each other on whether there is a free trial at all.
naughti.ai, made by the team behind this site, does not publish a free tier. If you want to try one scenario without a subscription, look for the 48-hour single-scenario pass (€7.99, about $9) that appears in its site code; I did not see it in the live checkout. Only for a taste. Candy AI’s terms say free users can generally send a maximum of 5 messages, and third-party reviews add 1 custom character and 1 image with no monthly tokens. After that you need Premium: €13.99 a month (about $15.67) or €47.88 a year (about $53.63), converted.
On reported free allowances, OurDream AI is the most generous at about 50 messages a day, then Secrets AI at about 20 a day and Nectar AI at about 15 a day with limited images. None of them gives free video; media needs a paid plan and coins or credits.
Not a classic trial. You get about 5 free messages, then a paid plan. The monthly plan starts at €9.99 for the first month (about $11.19) and then renews at €13.99. EU and UK users have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase, according to Candy AI’s terms.
Free users get no monthly tokens. Premium includes 100 tokens a month, which expire at the end of the billing period. Candy AI’s referral article values 200 tokens at $20, so treat any site promising free token codes with suspicion.
Most companion apps here need a subscription for media. Free tiers exist (OurDream AI, Secrets AI, Nectar AI, Kupid AI), but they cap messages. naughti.ai has a 48-hour single-scenario pass at €7.99 (about $9) in its site code, which is the closest thing to paying once.
OurDream AI, Nectar AI, Secrets AI and Kupid AI all allow adult content for adults, with limits on the free tier. Nectar AI’s FAQ says NSFW is available only to verified users aged 18 and over. Every app here bans content involving minors.
Free does not mean private. Check who runs the app and what its privacy policy says about chats. Candy AI says chats may be used to train AI models; Nectar AI’s policy has no retention periods; Kupid AI does not name its operator on the site.
